The fantastic cycle trail Kustlinjen (the Coast trail) has its beginning (or end) in Västervik. From Västervik, the 565 km long trail runs north, all the way to Öregrund north of Stockholm. Feel free to adapt the adventure and cycle as far as you want. From Västervik you cycle through Piperskärr, towards Gamleby and then straight east towards Loftahammar. From there you can cycle either out towards the fishing port Flatvarp by the Baltic Sea, with nice bathing cliffs and sea views, or further north.
