At Ässundet, take the bicycle ferry that's available all of summer, cycle over Ässön and then back to the mainland via the bridge at the south edge of the island. • "Tysslingen runt", 32 km starting in Karlsund and by Karlslund manor. The cycle route takes you west, past Tysslinge village with a church from the 13th century and burial grounds from the Iron Age. The nature reserve Tysslingen is famous for its many bird species.
• "Katrinelundsturen", about 30 km, mainly on gravel road and starting from Örebro Castle. You cycle along the southern edge of Hjälmaren. Here you will for example see Ekeby nature reserve. In Katrinelund you can swim, sunbathe and have a nice meal at a restaurant.
