Cycle the Kattegat Trail

Book a cycling package along Kattgattleden – Sweden's first national cycling route, which stretches from Helsingborg to Gothenburg. Over eight days, you can enjoy 390 kilometers of scenic cycling along the west coast with hotel accommodation, luggage transport (optional), and ready-made maps.

You choose your own start date in the booking request.

• Please note that the route starts in Helsingborg and ends in Gothenburg.
• Difficulty level – Easy to moderate – suitable for most cyclists with basic fitness.

When staying overnight along the way. Make sure to lock your bike as soon as you park it. During the night, the bike should be stored safely. Ask your hotel where you can store your bike. It must be stored in a locked storage room or in the “hotel courtyard/backyard,” which is not accessible to others.

An electric bike gives you a comfortable experience.

Day-by-day with distances

Day 1 – Arrival in Helsingborg

Check-in, bike delivery, and time to explore the city. Bikes and accessories can be picked up at Helsingborg Central, Bus Terminal, Gate 6, 252 21. You will be staying at Elite Hotel Mollberg.

Day 2 – Helsingborg → Ängelholm (approx. 60 km)

Coastal cycling via Viken, Höganäs, Kullabygden. The trail is well marked.

Day 3 – Ängelholm → Laholm (approx. 55 km)

Through the Bjäre Peninsula with the option of stopping in Båstad.

Day 4 – Laholm → Falkenberg (approx. 60 km)

Cycle via Skummeslövsstrand, Mellbystrand, Halmstad.

Day 5 – Falkenberg → Varberg (approx. 40 km)

A peaceful stage close to the sea, ideal for swimming and coffee breaks.

Day 6 – Varberg → Kungsbacka (approx. 65 km)

A longer day, with magnificent coastline and charming villages such as Åsa and Frillesås.

Day 7 – Kungsbacka → Gothenburg (approx. 40 km)

The final stretch into the city via Särö and Askim.

Day 8 – Check out in Gothenburg

Free time before returning home.
